ABOUT
SMALLTALK SPEECH THERAPY
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), also known as speech therapy, is a specialized field that focuses on diagnosing, assessing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs), commonly referred to as speech therapists, work with individuals of all ages who experience difficulties in various aspects of communication, including speech production, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, voice, and social communication. Additionally, SLPs also address swallowing and feeding disorders in both children and adults
OUR APPROACH
At SmallTalk Speech Therapy, we understand that every child’s path to effective communication is unique. Our approach combines compassionate care with evidence-based methods, focusing on each child’s individual needs and interests. We prioritize play-based therapy, incorporating engaging and enjoyable activities that make learning feel natural and fun.
Through this approach, we create a supportive environment where children can develop their speech and language skills while building confidence and enthusiasm for communication. We also value the role of family involvement, working closely with parents to reinforce progress and ensure that therapy extends beyond our sessions. Our mission is to help your child find their voice and connect with the world in a way that is uniquely theirs.
